Trinity Baptist Church is excited to announce the restoration of our full endorsement of Eden Clinic. This resolve is in response to the leadership of Eden Clinic's decision to resume her unreserved commitment to operate according to her founding Christian principles, live and share the gospel, focus on saving babies, and, once again, trust God's provision through His churches and people.

 

Trinity's members were involved with this vital Christian ministry from its inception in 1996 until 2019, when the former director and board redirected Eden from its lofty Christ-honoring moorings and mission to adopt secular language, strategies, and financing to accomplish their new endeavor. Unwilling to endorse Eden's redirection, on January 22, 2019, Trinity withdrew our support and involvement. This decision was a heartbreaking moment for our church. Over the prior twenty-three years, we had a host of people who served as founders, counselors, nurses, private donors, prayer warriors, and board members. We supported Eden's annual fund-raising banquet and had annual love offerings for Eden at Trinity. 

 

We are immensely thankful to Eden's new Director, Jodi Shumway, and the board for leading Eden Clinic to wholeheartedly resume its original Christian ministry and mission with an unabashed stand on its Christian foundation and principles. In light of these leaders commitment, Trinity Baptist Church is pleased to reestablish our sacred bond with Eden Clinic's Christ-honoring and gospel-centered ministry to share the gospel, minister to pregnant mothers, and save babies from abortion.
