Kathy Presley, Elementary Ministry Director | kathy@trinitynorman.org

Kathy Presley

My journey began as part-time elementary ministry director in October of 2006. Part-time is difficult for me. I have a longing to do more than time allows. At times I want to run when the Lord says slow down, but I’m trusting the Lord to give families and children what they need at Trinity in spite of time limitations. We have an awesome staff here that I walk along-side to help disciple and train people to walk by faith.

We came to Trinity Baptist Church in September of 1995 when my husband, Randy, became the worship pastor. Prior to being on staff officially, I was teaching STARZ! K!DZ Choir and third grade Sunday School. I love to say that I simply now get paid to do what I LOVE to do. I still lead STARZ! and teach regularly in K!DZ Worship.

My husband and I have twelve children, two by birth and ten by adoption. We have five boys and seven girls ranging in age from 30 to five. Our adopted kids are of varying ethnic backgrounds including Hispanic, Korean, Haitian, African American, Native American with tiny bit of Caucasian thrown in. Our pastor has called affectionately called us the Presley Nation, but really all this means is that color has no boundaries. Jesus loves each of us! Nine of our children are still at home. Yes, I’m busy, but I love kids and can’t imagine this path to heaven any other way.
I’d be happy to visit with you and your children finding a place to journey with us.
