Welcome to the Music Ministry page of Trinity Baptist Church. Our goal is to magnify and lift up the name of Jesus though the vehicle of music. We take to heart the admonition of Scripture to "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." (Colossians 3:16) We endeavor to sing and play music that teaches and adomnishes, with grace in our hearts. We would love for you to join us in this most lofty goal, knowing we serve a Wonderful Lord who is more than worthy of our praise and worship. Listed below are opportunities we have for you to use the musical abilities God has given you to help exalt His name. ADULT CHOIR
Adult Choir meets on Wednesday nights at 7:15 p.m. in the Choir room. The Adult Choir sings regularly on Sunday mornings in the Morning Worship Service. Two to three times throughout the year (Christmas and Easter, etc.) the Adult Choir presents a Musical/Drama celebration. To join the Adult Choir you simply come to a regular rehearsal and enroll.
1VOX (YOUTH CHOIR): (1VOX means one voice)
1VOX is the name of our Youth Choir. This choir is for young people in 6th through 12th grade. We rehearse on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in the Choir Room. We sing periodically in our Sunday Evening Worship Services. We also present musical/dramas a couple of times a year. Usually at Christmas and then again in the spring. To become a part of 1VOX , you simply come to rehearsal and enroll.
PRAISE BAND:
Praise Band rehearses on Wednesday nights at 6:15 p.m. If you play an instrument and would like to be a part of the Praise Band, you need to see Randy and schedule a try out.
SOLO OR ENSEMBLES:
If you are interested in singing a solo or in an ensemble during a worship service, you need to see Randy and schedule a try out.
